Educational Qualification
Must possess qualifications as per the Indian Rehabilitation Council (RCI). A valid CRR (Central Rehabilitation Register) number and related certificate are mandatory.
Must have qualified the Bihar Special School Teacher Eligibility Test (BSSTET) 2023: Paper-I for Class 1-5 and Paper-II for Class 6-8.
For Class 1-5: Minimum 50% in Higher Secondary (or equivalent) and a D.El.Ed. in Special Education from an RCI-recognized institution, along with a valid CRR number. Six months of teaching training in inter-disability areas is also required.
For Class 6-8: Minimum 50% in Graduation from a recognized university and a B.Ed. in Special Education from an RCI-recognized institution, along with a valid CRR number. Six months of teaching training in inter-disability areas is also required.
