National Council for Cement and Building Materials is the premier institute under the administrative control of DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India for technology development, transfer, continuing education and industrial services for Cement and Construction industries. NCB has its laboratories located at Ballabgarh, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Bhubaneswar. NCB requires to engage Project Associates purely on temporary basis for the duration of the projects as mentioned or till the completion of the projects, whichever is earlier.

Educational Qualification

General Terms And Condition/Other Details

1. The advertised post is exclusively for the projects mentioned against the posts in this advertisement.
2. The tenure of Project Associates shall be co-terminus with the Project.
3. The applicant must be a citizen of India.
4. Candidates having (a) National Eligibility Test-CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or valid GATE score or (b) A selection process through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and Institutions.
5. Interested and eligible candidates possessing the aforementioned Eligibility Criteria may appear for “Walk-in-Interview” with Original and self-attested copies of all certificate (Academic) / testimonials (viz., GATE Score Card, CSIR-UGC NET Score Card etc.) and valid Identity Proof (Voter ID Card/PAN Card/AADHAAR/ Driving License/Passport and one passport size photograph. No candidate will be allowed in the Interview without the Original Certificates & valid Identity Proof (in original) and candidature of such applicants shall be summarily rejected.
6. The age of the candidates, educational qualification, experiences etc. will be treated as on the date of Walk-in-Interview.
7. In case a large number of candidates, the candidates will be shortlisted for interview as per the criteria fixed by the Selection Committee. The final decision to allow a candidate to appear for interview rests with Director General, NCB.
8. Age relaxation shall be applicable as per Government of India Rules.
9. No Relaxation/Concession in Qualification and Experience.
10. Candidates are directed to fill the Application form (available at NCB Website i.e. www.ncbindia.com under recruitment tab); and bring on the day of Interview along with all the supporting documents as enumerated vide Sl. No. 5.
11. If any document/ certificate furnished is in a language other than Hindi or English, a self-attested transcript of the same is to be submitted.
12. Only post qualification experience after completion of qualification against which the candidate will apply will be counted as effective experience.
13. The decision of the Director General of National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCB) in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications, conduct of Interview and not to fill up all or any of the posts will be final and binding on the candidates and no enquirer or correspondence shall be entertained in this regard from any individual.
14. Mere fulfillment of qualification may not confer any right to short listing for Interview.
15. No interim enquirers will be entertained from any candidates.
16. The candidate may please make their own arrangement for boarding/lodging as the interview may be continued till late night or next day also.
17. NCB reserves the right to amend/delete/ or cancel any advertisement (part or full) at any point of time without mentioning any reason.
18. Not all posts need to be filled if suitable candidates are not found.

20. Canvassing in any form and/or bringing influence political or otherwise will be treated as a disqualification for the post.
21. The officials may be expected to conduct themselves in accordance with the rules and regulations of the National Council for Cement and Building Materials. You are expected to demonstrate high moral character, integrity, secrecy of office and dedication of work while discharging duties.
