Indian Air Force invites ONLINE applications from Male Indian/ Gurkha (A Subject Of Nepal) citizens from all States and UTs for selection test from 25 September 2025 onwards to join Indian Air Force as Airmen in the Group ‘Y’ Medical Assistant trade.

Airmen Intake 02/2026

Educational Qualification

1) Medical Assistant Trade (For candidates with 10+2). Candidate should be unmarried and born between 02 July 2005 and 02 July 2009 (both dates inclusive).

Candidate should have passed 10+2/ Intermediate/ Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from Education Boards recognised by Central, State and UT with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and with 50% marks in English.
OR
Should have passed two years’ Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from Education Boards recognised by Central, State and UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

2) Medical Assistant trade (For candidates with Diploma/ B.Sc in Pharmacy). Unmarried candidate should be born between 02 July 2002 and 02 July 2007 (both dates inclusive). Married candidate should be born between 02 July 2002 and 02 July 2005 (both dates inclusive).
In case, a candidate clear all the stages of the Selection Procedure, then the upper age limit as on date of enrollment should be 21 years for candidates with 10+2/ Intermediate/ Equivalent including vocational course and 24 Years for candidates holding Diploma/ B.Sc in Pharmacy.

Candidate with Diploma/ B.Sc in Pharmacy. Candidate should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. In addition, Diploma/ B.Sc in Pharmacy with minimum 50% marks in aggregate with valid registration from State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) at the time of enrollment
will be mandatory requirement.

Applicaiton Fees 

Examination fee of ₹ 550/- + GST is to be paid online by the candidate while registering for the online examination.
